How to Steal a Car

To be able to steal a car you will first need to purchase a garage. This allows you to store up to 3 cars to start with, and later on you can upgrade the garage to hold even more cars.

Once you have a Garage you can goto The Roads where you will come across many different cars, not all of which you are able to steal yet. On viewing a car to steal it will show you a difficulty number. This difficulty is just like the difficulty in Robberies except it relies more on Strength than Concentration.

You must have at least more than the average of your concentration, intelligence and half your strength. I must also warn you that there are random elements on the cars difficulty number and also on your own ability to steal. So it is best to make sure you are well ahead of the difficulty number before attempting to steal the selected car. In the beginning it is best to go for Honda Civics and other low end cars.

If you fail to steal a car you will be putting yourself at risk of getting caught and sent to the County Jail for a specified amount of time, usually over an hour.

Once you have the car you are able to sell it off to make a profit.

Where can I find out what cars there are?

On the Downtown page there is a link to the Car Showcase which lists most of the cars available to steal. They are displayed by difficulty from lowest to highest. There are some cars that are not shown in the dealership that you can find by searching the streets. So when first starting out your quest to steal cars it is better to start at the top and work your way down as you get better.
