What's it all about?
Robberies will earn you cash, experience and respect. This is one of the easiest ways to earn cash and respect within the game. Experience will help you to level-up your character, giving you some steroids each time. Respect is your score within the game. You are ranked in the game by how much respect you have, and the goal is to become the most respected gangsta on Gangta.
When you successful pull off a robbery you will gain some attributes (Strength, Charm, Intelligence and Concentration). The higher these become the more high profile robberies you can perform, the better cars you can steal and the harder you will hit any enemies.
There is a chance that you will fail a robbery. This is because the police were nearby or you were not experienced enough to pull off that particular robbery. If you fail a robbery you will be sent to the county jail for about 30 minutes. You will have to wait it out or if you have a friend online, you can ask them to bust you out early.
Performing a robbery
Once you are on the robbery page you will be presented with a table titled 'Perform a Robbery'. There is a drop-down menu just underneath that heading that has a list of robberies. The robberies are ordered by their difficulty. The easiest are at the top with the hardest being at the bottom.
Time Frames are how long you spend performing a robbery. The default time frame is 'Normal'. If you choose 'Long' then your chances of getting caught will increase, however the amount of cash and experience you get will increase too. If you choose 'Short' then your chances of getting caught decrease but so does your cash and experience amount.
New members should perform Pickpocketing on a normal time frame for their first few robberies. Once your attributes start to increase you will be able to perform bigger and better robberies. You will benefit more from performing higher robberies on a long time frame than you would with lower robberies so it is not worth the risk at the beginning of a round.
Each robbery has an amount of Energy needed to perform that robbery. Make sure you have enough. Bigger robbery's require alot more energy and are consequently more difficult to perform.
Robberies use Strength, Intelligence, Concentration and your equipped weapon work out whether you can succeed or not. So in order to increase your chances of succeeding and performing better robberies you will need to increase your attributes or upgrade to a better weapon.
If you get stuck try asking experienced players who have a good knowledge of the game and can determine whether or not you can succeed with a robbery. You can find experienced players by joining Gangs or through the Imail system (they will probably have high respect).
Failing a Robbery
If you happen to fail a robbery because you didn't have enough attributes then there will be a random chance that you are caught by the cops. If this happens then you will be sent to the County Jail for 30 minutes. If you have a friend online and they are better than you, try asking them to bust you out.
Different Robberys
There are different types of robbery. They vary as to how difficult they are to perform. these are in order of easiest to hardest: Pickpocket, Car Break-in, Arcade, Newsagents, Flat, House, Pub, Warehouse, Primary School, Supermarket, JD Sports, Cinema, Kid-nap, Jewellers, Secondary School, Mansion, BMW Showroom, College, Mob HQ, Bossmans House, University, Bank, Casino, Paypal, International Bank.
