Introduction
Gangta is a place where you have to fight dirty to make your way in the world. The most common thing you will find yourself doing will be robberies. However as your character gains more experience and respect you will be able to move onto bigger and better things such as street fighting and car jacking.
Where do I start?
Step 1 (Equipment)
The first thing you can do is visit the Downtown page in search of a weapon. The weapon store is located under the heading Shops(Top Left). As you have £2,500 starting cash you can either purchase a Knuckle Duster or Hammer, however if you buy a hammer you will be left with only very little cash, which will be needed later on.
Step 2 (Robbery)
After you have chosen a weapon you can start performing robbery's. The trick with robberies is to start off low and watch how many attributes you are getting. As soon as it starts to drop below 2 and even 1 of each attribute you should be able to do the next robbery. So first of all you will only be able to do some Pickpocketing which takes 10 energy to perform. At first you will notice that you are not getting alot of cash from these robberies, but remember that you are just starting out and your character is gaining more experience, the more you perform robberies.
Step 3 (Employment)
Located under "Downtown" is the employment office this is where you can gain quick cash using energy, this may be good to generate quick income but in the long run you are better off performing robberies as that is the best option. The employment office is only open to those that are level 1 or under.
Step 4 (Nightclub)
With your saved up cash you can visit nightclubs using your nightclub tickets. You will get nightclub tickets every 24 hours, and depending on whether you have vip or not you will get 15 or 10 respectively. By visiting nightclubs and using drugs you will gain instant energy and also increase your Spirit.
You must be very careful not to overdose when taking drugs. Each drug you take can give you different amounts of energy each time. You have to make sure that your energy does not go over 100%. If it does you will overdose and be hospitalised, taking up to an hour at a time to recover.
Your Spirit determines how fast your energy regenerates. The higher your Spirit bar is the more energy you will regenerate over time. This means by going to the nightclub at regular intervals to keep your Spirit Very High is a very good idea.
Step 5 (Street Fighting)
Street fighting is where you will come head to head against each other to settle your differences. To be able to street fight you must have at least 100 respect. You can attack anyone you want providing you have enough energy. You will need 10 energy to start a fight and you are limited to 10 fights per day, 15 being VIP. You also cannot attack the same person more than 3 times within a 24 hour period.
By clicking "Show attackable" this will bring up a list of all the members that are alive that are in your range for you to fight, if you wish to proceed simply click the "attack" button located in the "options" column of the table.
Step 6 (Hookers)
As your respect increases and you get the hang of visiting nightclubs and performing robbery's you will want to expand and use your charm to buy yourself some hookers. Hookers will bring you income each day and you will have to collect it once you feel there is enough to collect.
You may even charm some ladies in the clubs if your charm is high enough.
Step 7 (Car Boosting)
Cars are another big factor in Gangta as there are many of them. You can boost cars in the The Roads where you will first need to buy a Garage Pass enabling you to store any cars that you jack. You can attempt to steal up to 3 cars a day (5 for VIP Members).
The cars you steal can be sold for half of the original price. It is similar to robbery's in the way that you have to look at the difficulty of a car to determine whether you can steal the car or not.
Step 8 (County Jail & Hospital)
If you are caught by the cops doing something you shouldn't be doing then you will end up in the County Jail. Spending some hours thinking about what you have done and what you could do to prevent it next time. If you are not in jail then you can also risk the chance of being caught by busting others out of jail.
The Hospital is the place you will end up if you overdose or get beaten to a pulp by another gangster. Like the County Jail you will have to spend some time in hospital preparing yourself for what you can do to prevent it next time or get back at the gangster who beat you.
You are also able to buy pills in the Hospital that can give you that extra boost in attributes enabling you to perform better robberies, steal better cars and beat down your enemies that much quicker. They are costly though so don't expect a huge boost.
To be continued... [Need to explain: Gangs, Missions, Map & Buildings, Travelling, Referrals, VIP Centre and any others I have forgotten =P
